HELP! I need an answer ASAP!

Hello all... I'm sorry to be in a rush but... I am.  I just had a failed lumbar, spinal epidural and leaked spinal fluid from the Dural sac.  They prescribed me floricet for an upcoming "spinal headache".  So far I haven't gotten the headace after 24 hours but it may still happen.

Long story short... I'm an addict and I don't know what they gave me.  My nurse swears that it is similar to percocet but I'm not so sure that is correct since it is a barbituate.  I'm aware that it is addictive but if it is similar to percocet than that is a huge red flag for me.  I haven't taken them cuz I don't have a headache but I feel one coming on.  Please enlighten me.

If they are similar to percocet then I want nothing to do with them since I will finish the bottle (100 ct) this afternoon.  :)  Just kidding.  That really was a joke... sort of...!  Can you please tell me if the two are similar as far as their chemistry?  I'd really appreciate it.  I'm leaving in va

Why didn't you ask what they were giving you?
Why would you take medication that you have no idea what it is........

I was on it for a short time while I was pregnant.  If I remember correctly (I could be wrong) there are two different kinds - one with codeine and one without.

being someone who LOVES vik's and perc's, i can tell you i've taken floricet and it did nothing (high-wise) for me... in fact, i didn't like it at all..

i don't believe it's a narcotic, but i could be wrong.. if i were you, i would google it, and find out.

but personally, it did zip for me that way...
