I totally concur with atthebeach!  Great advice!

You definitely do not want to use benzos, Soma and weed.  Most times, that kind of stuff ends up making a person feel worse, not to mention you run the risk of trading addictions.  You don't want to have to face a benzo detox down the road!

I would not suggest benzos, soma and weed to use during withdrawal.
Look under the health pages on the bottom right of this page at the amino acid protocol and the Thomas recipe.
Protein drinks, ensure, boost, healthy diet, vitamins, time, exercise, patience, time and more time. Recovery and healing are a process. You didn't become addicted in a week and you won't heal in a week.
Support groups, therapy, to help prevent relapse.

Methadone is a tough drug to come off but there's a lot of people here who gone through and will be able to give you some great hints.  What dose were you on and for how long?  Have you tapered down?
