I am detoxing, this is day one with absolutely no opiate medication at all. I was taking about 60 mgs of oxycodone a day. Over the past week or so I have cut that back to 10 mgs. This *****, I couldnt really sleep last night. How long will it be till im in hell? Its already getting to my mind, and my energy level is non-existant. My muscles are already tight and im on an emotional roller coaster. Any suggestions for when the s*** hits the fan?

So sorry your feeling ruff right now. The good thing is you have tapered your dose way down. Try to keep this as simple as you can, don't over think things or you will cause more stress. Your not going to feel great for a few days (everyones different). Just think though, a few days of your life now to get out from under a lifetime of hell. Hot baths will be your best friend, push lots of fluids like gatoraid and watered down OJ, Look up the thomas recipe and follow that. Others will be on to give you excellent advice. Your on your way, keep your chin up. You can do this!

Welcome...First, I suggest that you take some time and read these posts. You'll find people who used the same med you did, and then you can get an idea as to what they went through.
Having said that, everyone's different. The amount and duration of drug use plays a big part in what to expect from withdrawals. Usually, you will experience three or four days of, well, hell. If you're ready, you will get through it fine. Hundreds of us have. Keep in mind, it does get better. Drink lots of liquid, take vitamins, and try to keep eating, or eat as soon a s you can. And keep posting. We are here for you.
