Help please.

My daughter has asked me to post for her...(She feels horrible with sweats/cold and flu like symptoms) and doesnt feel like moving off of the couch.  She has asked if there is anything that will alleviate the hot flashes/cold? She took her last 2 lortab yesterday and is absolutely going nuts...If anyone has an idea of what will help we will sure will appreciate it. She cannot go to an emergency room so hopefully there is something over the counter.

Well if she is telling the truth...30 to 40 a day...10mg lortabs... She has been trying to taper over a 2 week period....she took 2 yesterday and none today.

I would say it is not by choice but she is out of money and job.

Xanax will help calm the jitters and the restless leg that comes with the withdrawals. There's some information on all of this on my profile page you may want to read. It will answer many of these questions. Just click on the blue Ga Guy link to the left of this post.

Benzo's are benzodiazapine's like klonopin, atavan, xanax, and valium. They can be helpful for detox because they will calm you down..but, are not to be played with because they are as addictive or more so than opiates. A week, two at the most is all you would need to take them.
