You are sure welcome! Keep us posted on how you are doing while you're getting ready for that baby!!!
Thank you so much! I actually feel a little bit better for the first time in a week. And not so scared.
Apple juice has a lot of potassium! And it will be good for you anyway! And yes, I have seen other people on here who are in the same situation. Just do exactly what the doctor says, and it's going to be ok. Just stop the stuff and DO NOT go back on it!!
Congrats on the baby!!!
Thank you. I guess I'm just really scared of what the drug would do to the baby especially right now. I hope if I get off of it in about 14 days that no harm is done. This had to have happened to other women as well. getting pregnant while taking this? I guess I think that's too long but having seizure would be worse for the pregnancy, I'm sure.
I'm taking a prenatal vitamin and eating as well as I can.
Apple juice? I didn't know that. I will definitely get some.
Thanks! I did talk to my Fibro doctor and I have an appt Wednesday. She wanted me to stop the tramadol immediately. I told her about the feelings of a seizure when i did that and she said drop 1/2 pill- 1 pill every 2-3 days. I just didn't know if there was anything else I could do to hurry it along without actually having a seizure. I read that can happen and when I felt that way it was pretty scary.
Is 350 mg a high dose to come off of? I've been taking it for 18 months.
Hi! What you need to do is talk with your doctor. Do you have an OB/GYN yet? If not, you need to get one, and in the meantime talk with your regular doctor who prescribes for your FM. You will need to be very careful since you are pregnant!
Welcome to the forum. The tramadol needs to be tapered slowly. Please talk to your dr about this since u found out your pregnant and he/she can help you. Best of luck.
I would do exactly what the doctor said, and be sure to inform your OBGYN when you go too. The more they know, the more help they will be to you and your baby.
Are you taking a prenatal vitamin with folic acid? That will help. Your energy will be zapped for awhile with the WDs and the pregnancy at the same time.
Don't forget to eat well, and keep plenty of fluids in you. Gatorade or apple juice is great and will help with leg cramps.
