Look at what you feel as getting well again. Your body is detoxing the opiates. When I went through what you're going through I tried to view it as a tunnel I'm temporarily passing through to become drug free and get my life back to the way it was before the nightmare all started.
You're doing this!! And you're actually working while you're doing it! You're amazing!
Good for you! You should be very proud of yourself. You are doing a great thing here!
Thanks guys gonna try let go of the fear post again later!!
Hey jibi! ariley13 is absolutely on the money! Stress & Fear are your enemies here. You just said yourself that you were 'in awe' you made through Friday. (We never had any doubt that you would!)
Take that positive attitude and apply it to the RLS & sleep fear. Telling yourself that it's 'NOT' going to happen is really counterproductive. If, indeed, you can't sleep, don't struggle with it. Do something else. Listen to your favorite music. Get in a hot tub. As ariley13 said, watch something funny (fires the endorphins to laugh.) Read. Journal. Whatever gives you pleasure - or stay on the forum and post for support!
You've been doing so well! Keep it up..you're just about to get over that hump and you've got the weekend to do it in. Hang in there! We're pulling for you.
Please, please do not stress about the RLS and anxious, yucky stuff kicking in. I swear to you, I had the exact same problem. I would 'psyche' myself out big time, and every evening around 7 or so it would kick in. When I finally just went with it, and let go of the stress and worry, it got a whole lot better. The bananas should help you. Eat as many as you need to! Go home eat them, take a hot relaxing bath, and put something funny on the TV. Don't stress!! I know it's hard. You are so close to feeling better. Please hang in there!
