How long does hydrocodone stay in the system?

I have been off painkillers for about 2 weeks and still get the chills and diarrea. Is this still the remainence of the hydro? If so are there any ways to cleanse my system besides water? Thank you for this forum. I really enjoy reading all the support people give each other.

You two posted to an old thread. You should each start your own thread. At the top of the page you will see "post a question" in a green box. If you want you can copy and paste your post from  above. You have stumbles across a great place that has some very caring people that will not judge. People will bend over backwards to help you succeed.
You can find the thomas recipe in the health pages which can be found in the upper right hand side of the screen. You will also find the amino acid protocol. They both can be very helpful. There is also a lot of other great information in the health pages.
So first off, start you own post. You won't get overlooked that way

Hi - I have been on Norco 10 (8 a day) for the past 3 years due to Breast Cancer. My doctor has cut me off and i'm so embarrsed to tell them that i have a problem!  I want and am ready to be done with these pills once and for all! Tomorrow will be day 1 for me, i saw on a post that you had some sort of a receipe that might make it easier?  I have tried to stop a few times before but by day 2 i was so sick i started using again!  I am so scared this time but i have no choice, i'm tired of my pills running my life! Any advice anyone has for me would be so great!  Thanks!

Im new to this forum...I have read every single post, and am glad I did..I know I have a addiction to lortab, I basically traded one bad habit for another....I had to actually look and make sure my name wasn't on some of these posts because I can relate so much to them...lol..Thanks for this forum, I am in the beginning process, so I will definitely be back....1 question though...What is the Thomas recipe...I missed that one and would like to know..it seemed to help others...lol..Thanks again

Hello, I am 30 years old christian, who is very active in my church and community.Yet I have a secret that only a handful of people know, I am addicted to Vicodin. I buy them from a girl who lives in a different town then I and i buy her whole script every month for 300 dollars. That usually last me half the month, then I go to clinic after clinic for the rest.  I started about 3 years ago, and I dont even remember what is was like to not be on them. Other than the money situation, I cant think of any other good reasons to fight the devil with on the difference between being clean or on pills, Please help me. I want to stop.

if you can stop without suboxin you should it is harder to kick then pains, it really makes your skin crawl and the nervous feeling is unbearable to me pains are easier to stop.  trading one addiction for another is not the answer , just an opinion

I'm currently on day 7 with no hydro 10's or perk 7.5's its been the roughest I've ever withdrawn from any other drug. I was A wild teen and developed a high tolerance to everything. Yet hydro are the hardest to handel. I sit and cry my finance doesn't quit understand so I can relate. I was super dad until this passed week. I hurt from pain, withdraws, but most of all a failure to my girl and daughter. Its good to know I'm not alone. I just wish I could sleep and the anxiety and diarrhea would stop. Do any of u think a valium would help or is it a bad idea to take any pills? And also does anyone know how long it take to get back to normal after 3yrs of about 120mg of hydros or 40-80 mg of perks?
