How to get yourself into trouble.

My wife has arthritis in her hips and takes Advil for it. Anyway the other day she said that she had run out. Now a bottle of Advil 100s lasts hher anywhere between three and four months. I said to her"Are you out of Advil already?" She got kind of flustered and asked me if I thought she was becoming an addict. I told her if she keeps it up I may have to put her on Med Help for advice on how to kick it. I went out and got her anoher bottle of Advil admonishing her not to finish them so quickly . She took the Advil out of my hand and threw them violently against the wall. She said that there was no way she was going to go through what I went through. At that point I couldn't hold back and broke into a loud laughter. She stared at me for a moment and as I bent over with laughter, gave me a smack on the back of the head that had my ears ringing for about a half an hour. Today I received a call from a man who said he was a lawyer and would like me to come to his office to work out the details of the divorce. I asked him "What divorce?" He said that my wife had come into his office and asked him to draw up papers for the her divorce actiona gainst me. She wasn't home at the time and I was at my wit's end what to do. I called my son and he said "Sorry dad there's nothing I can do." I called two more of my children and they gave me the same answer.   I called the lawyer back and told him that I would be there in the morning. I went to my friend's house and explained what was happening. He told me to go home and see a lawyer in the morning. When I got home about three hours later I walked in and found all my chilren sitting at the table with my soon to be ex wife. They all looked at me shaking their heads. My wife had her face buried in a napkin and I thouh she was crying. I think I looked like I was about to cry and it was pretty close when they all started laughing and slapping each other. It turned out that I was not the only one who could play the game. My wife had phoned all my children and the friend she knew I would run to and set the whole thing up. The lawyer was my son's brother-in-law. Anyhow, I decided that from now on I would be careful who I ppayed tricks on. Gotta be careful with an angry spouse I'll tell you. Very careful.

You're stories always bring my spirits up when I'm feelin' shitty lol... thanx for that. I really needed it.  It's funny that you mention advil cuz before i started taking pain pills I was goin' through a bottle of advil liquid gels every week.  I swear by them, they are great if your body isn't used to any prescripted pain killers.  Thanx for the laugh, Lil. :)
