How to stop doing drugs

i've been doing a lot of drugs lately..... first of all i pop a lot of estacy and coke.... i am high on coke now...... i really wanna quit so can someone help me!!! i am only 22 years old i dont want to f**k up my life!!! PLEASE HELP and i dont want my family to know.....

I read your post.  You can easily find a NA meeting simply by going to the Narcotics Anonymous website.  They have a "meeting locator" option, you just tell them your area where you want to go for meetings, (sometimes people want to attend meetings outside of their neighborhood) and it will show you every possible meeting, times, subject, etc.  It is very cool.  I check it a lot, I offer to come with my husband if he wants, but I have so far gotten nowhere with him.  My husband is a heroin addict who is almost coming out of his denial.
Anyways, regarding your request for a meeting location, just type in narcotics anonymous in your search engine, and you will find a meeting you want to attend in no time.

It is very hard on you I guess with your culture.  I have some idea of the ways of your people.  My father in law came back from Viet Nam not too long ago, and he was explaining to me that basically the culture is very similar to morals from yesteryear in our country. No one DATES!  They get engaged first, they must meet the parents, and go on chaperoned dates in the beginning.  Marriages are sometimes arranged by elder family members.  No one disrespects their parents, even if the parent has their child working far younger than people are allowed to do in this country. Addictions are a sign of weakness and will bring SHAME to the family. Etc. Etc.  

I want you to know that as long as you keep visiting this site, and just try for one hour in the beginning to be clean, it will be an excellent start. After you have accomplished being clean for one hour, then immediately try for two and so on and so on until you are a day clean, then it can lead to two days and more.  You will not regret getting off drugs, I promise you that.

If you have a hobby or a special interest, I want you to pursue it wholeheartedly to keep yourself busy. Walk, visit museums, cook, anything that will keep your mind off drugs and occupied on something else my friend.

You are so young and strong!  It is completely possible for you to accomplish sobriety.
Congratulations on your choice of coming to this site.  Congratulations on making an effort to get clean.

First step William is to admit that you have a problem. Then the hard work starts you sound to me like you are exprementing with drugs. What drug are you addicted too,i was a heroin addict for 13yrs 13yrs lost to drugs i cant rember anything good or positive that came out of my drug use. Just misery by that i mean ,no money, craving heroin every day. Of those 13yrs, getting into trouble with the police,lots of violence,William its not a life to be around the drug scene.As Mikchez said it will only get worse and he is spot on about that. Your young get out now before you lose the best years of your life to drugs. There is nothing great or cool about being around the drug scene .As all the above have said get help NOW!!!!! before its to late.I wish you the very best william  Choose your life before the drugs bud  Good luck yo ya ,,,,James

Secrets keep us sick......You are playing with fire here and the drugs you are using will kill you if you dont stop.  Google NA/AA in your area.  There is help out there but you have to be the one to reach out.  There is a better way and you deserve it~~~~~~sara

hi boo, listen i went to rehab at 19 for coke. stayed 32 days and it was great stayed clean from that. iam 22 now and for the past year i have taken pain killers to get high. iam on my 8th day now. its a stuggle im sore im angry i want to get high but i am young and u only live once. u deserve a fair shot at a family, wife, advancing in life, i actually have feeling now. let your family know. i was scared too. but i knew they were going to help me with support and finacially. and believe me b4 rehad i hated my parents dawg.

thx for your advice i will do my best to stop using!! but about the family thingy see i am Chinese and in my couture coke and pill is like the last thing u wanna try so if i tell my parents they are really going to disown me for real man im not kidding so basically im on my own but i will try to find the 12 step meetings.... can u tell me more about that??? and none of my friends know about my drug problems... so i really need to talk to someone about my drug problems...

First I would like to say Thank you for posting I always need to be reminded that it still dosn’t work out there in drug land.
1st it’s our responsibility to take care of our selves nobody is going to do it for us.
What do you have to change? Every thing our thinking has to change that using is not an option delete connections numbers go to 12 step meetings aa,na,ca,or go to treatment center,
Face your fears tell your family I bet they already know something’s up.
Do you want to help your self get honest with your self?
We can’t have a victory with out a battle.
Some times I think our subconscious mind is trying to tell us something and it might be trying to tell you it isn’t working.
Don’t waste your life on using I did and I’m paying the price now there is a lot of young people in recovery.  
Who knows maybe it’s just the drugs your on maybe you really don’t want to quit because your coming down and don’t have any more,
For me it has to be the most important thing in my life because this drug thing progresses believe me I was at a point that I didn’t want to live and that’s a crazy place to be. More& more any thing some of us are real addicts some aren’t. Are you a real addict only you can answer that one if you are do something about if your not have fun I think for addicts it’s not fun any more.
