Gazoontite!!

Here's an odd question. Is there some kind off sneezing symptom that goes with withdrawls? I've been sneezing since I quit using . I sneeze at least 9 times a day. It's very frustrating. Is this normal reaction? I was snorting my roxy's , could that be why? I know, I'm strange.

First off, thanks for the cheering. I love that. Second, I didn't get any blochiness, but I couldn't stand to have one of my cats sit on my lap. I felt trapped if they did. I did get like body tingles during the first week, you know where you feel like someones tickling you with a feather and not in the good way. eh eh? lol. The sneezing.... i just hate it. Comes out of nowhere. I went to take a spoonfull of some soup last night and blew it right off the spoon. The cats got a nice meal though, so there's always that. Once I actually pinched off my nose so I wouldn't sneeze in public. That backfired on me horribly. It came out my mouth with like a burst of turettes syndrone or something. Very embarrassing. So sneezing. I hate it.

Most frustrating the sneezing bit. I often wondered way if you didn't snort anything why does the nose get so aggitated. I suppose it's a cleansing process the body goes through. Funny you ask about this, I was watching a special on the E channel about addicts and this one women went through the rapid detox program. They showed everything. The process took 45 mins. and in that time the women must have sneezed over 20 times in a row. It was interesting to watch, I thought the heart stopped when you sneeze, but she came throught it fine. She got herself better but still said she was dealing with it for a couple of weeks.

Let me ask you a question because I'm in a similar situation. Does you skin feel weird? What I mean by this is bloachiness, claminess, a general uneasiness? I was woried there was something wrong with me. It seems like every new ailment I feel there is a problem. Also wanted to say good for you, stay the course, we're all with you!

Hello Kim, nice to meet you. Your husband has been a great help to me. And behind every great man is a fantastic woman. Thank you for the compliment. I actually sneezed 3 times while reading your post. lol. I don't think a peg would work. In my case I may blow it right off and depending on where I'm at, I could do some serious damage to something. LOL.
Hugs right back to ya Kim.
Great girl you got there James.

Yes,John,I've seen your picture and I didn't laugh!!

You have a great attitude and that's soooo important. I don't see you as a guy sitting on the "pity pot" (unless,of course, you HAVE to LOL).

The fact that you can even laugh is huge and I'm sure you make a lot of people smile.
You deserve this new, clean life as we all do...and your approach is infectious!!

Keep posting because you'll help so many here~ I mean it!  (You know I don't mince words LOL)

Thank you vicki. I try so hard to keep in good spirits when all the while I'm lying in a pile of ****! My humor is my way of dealing with the harder stuff, ya know. If we can't laugh at ourselves we are doomed. Believe me, there's alot about me to laugh at. Hell, have you seen my pic. LOL.
But thanks to everyone for their info, support, words, and humor. All of it has made me feel sooooo much better about the path that I have chosen. I will continue to post and be myself. If I can make just one person in this ****** up world we all dwell in together smile, then I can feel that I deserve what it is I want so badly.
Thanks again.

I sneezed a lot as well and they were a good excuse to tell everyone at work that I felt like I was getting the flu when I was really withdrawing from opiates.

I agree, nothing about sneezing is enjoyable to me either.  Especially having to make sure I have my tissues in my pocket before I leave as drainage will occur at a moment's notice.  The sneezes are so violent I have to be careful and empty my bladder often....been there done that.  Now, I have been sneezing and blowing for well over 2 weeks.  Enough is enough.  It wakes me up, I feel like I'm infecting this house.  I have a tissue box at my bedside and a garbage can full of used tissues.  Also, I now have a sore in BOTH nostrils from all the wiping, I'm presuming.  Just a smell of a scent is so powerful.....guess what... I sneeze and they are a head-turner.  People look at you like you're an alien form.
