Potassium supplements help some take them 30 to 40 min before bed time
Try putting a regular bar of ivory soap between ir mattress and ur fitted sheet. Right by ur legs. My rls was immediately gone. Look ot up its so crazy how this works
no matter what you do just don't go back to the little devils (norcos) that will upset you so munch after being clean for 2 weeks so hang in there try what everybody is telling you ,try anything just nothing to do with painkillers because if you go down that road i know you will regret that decision so stay strong and it should be over soon, heck they should have already been over but that's the devil's way of trying to get you to come back..hey ill give her RLS FOR 2 weeks then she'll be back ... sc rew that devil he su cks so stick it out and keep moving forward in your progress because your doing so well..god bless..jeff..
Was just going to post ask about this. I'm almost 8 days into subutex wd's. I've been powering up with amino acids/protein, vits and minerals for a couple of days and it seems to have helped with my energy etc. But the rls and crawling skin still comes on bad at night. I might try the towels thing.
Hi~ The main cause of RLS is dehydration and loss of minerals. So,drink more water and gatorade. Apple juice, orange juice, grape juice. You need minerals so get some
calcium, magnesium, potassium and zinc. The RLS improves almost immediately with the ingestion of the minerals. Also, very warm baths help. Soak as long as you can and keep adding hot water. For some folks, the RLS hangs around so try these few things and I'm sure you'll feel better.

Hello Pomo,
It is unusual to have RLS two weeks after coming off of Hydrocodone. It's usualy no more than a week. In answer to your question, YES it does and will get better.
In the meantime you are doing the right things. Have you considered seeing a Doctor for assistance with your withdrawal? He could prescribe non narcotic muscle relaxers, sleeping aids and BP meds for anxiety. I did this with my Doc coming off of Suboxone (evil drug) and it was helpful with the symptoms. Hang in There. Don't Fall Down. Seek support here, from your family and friends, and professionals.
Sorry to hear your still having difficulty with the RLS. I really don't have any good suggestions on what to do or why your still having these in such extreme form. After a week, most of my RLS was gone and sleep was starting to get better meaning 2 or 3 hours at a time..By the end of the second week, I started getting 4 to 5 hours at a time.
I can add this though..I tried the Hylands but it landed up making things worse on me. I'm not alone with that either as I've seen other's post about it not working for them. Sarah mentioned something about wrapping your legs with a warm towel as she said it gave her some relief..I found that curious as just prior to seeing her comment about that, I had tried wrapping my arms (my RLS was in my arms) with an Ace Bandage and that pressure seemed to help me..
Might try dumping the Hylands and try the towel or Ace Bandage thing..Hopefully this won't last much longer for you..
