Hello to all old & new

I know it's been a couple of months i think since i've posted but boy have i been watching the threads here. Just wanted to update those on my progress. I'am finally @ my point of quitting my devil pills & for some odd reason i'am so super excited & have such hope for the future!! The past 5 day's i have had to go from a 60-80mg a day habit ( of hydro's) to today i had 10mg!! ( sorry yesterday, i worked all night & haven't been to bed yet) so when i wake up later this afternoon i have 5mg left!! Yippie!! for some odd reason the  first 4 days of major cut back i had no energy & the other WD systems but this AM as i was driving home from work i've felt better than i have the past week. So now here's the question. Will it get much worse? Thank u & congrats to everyone on this fourm no matter what phase ur in! Now i must sleep while i can.

Hey stacy - glad you made the decision to stop!  I agree with Minn - just take it as it come, take it one minute at a time if you have to and you'll get through it.  As long as you are taking pills your real withdrawal won't really start.  Don't over think and just hang in threre.  Post for support!

Hi Stacey!

I'm glad you decided to quit and that you feel pretty good. We're all different, so your timetable may be different. You also may be one of those lucky ones who got a " get out of jail free card. " Meaning you may have minimal wd. I tend to overthink things, and often the fear of something is worse than what actually happens. Try to just take it as it comes and not think too far ahead. Or, as I say, don't Minn it up and analyze it to death ;)
