I ALSO NEED HELP !!

I have been reading quite a few posts, and now am wondering what I can do to make going through detox easier.  I have been tapering for almost a month now, and am down to 2 Tramadol 2-3 times a day now from a very large and extensive habit ranging from Vic's to Klonopin, and Xanax, and Soma etc.  I am feeling okay about the tapering but my life still revolves around the pills, as hubby is issuing the meds to me now as I don't trust myself, but I still ensure I get something in my system, before withdrawals would occur, and I am very scared because I was taking at least 1-2 Vic's per day and this was day one off those to plain Tramadol all day long.  Anyhow, I am going in for detox on Wednesday and they said they don't give any reform medications whatever that means, but they will give Librium if needed or a muscle relaxer.  They will also administer my Lithium for Bi-Polar and my Sinemet for Restless Legs, so I'm told I should be okay since I have meds that would help with the withdrawal effects.  What am I looking at happening for 3 days, and also I am going to contact my Primary Physician before going into Detox and explain the situation and see if he will give me a prescription for medication following detox to help ease things, what would the best medication be that he could prescribe to ensure a complete and full recovery once my treatment is complete.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please, consider every other option before taking methadone. The withdrawals from it can be 10 times worse than the Vicodin withdrawals. Methadone is a street you'd be best not to go down.

So it's not best to take methadone? That's all I've heard from people around here, and I know through the outpatient rehab following detox they issue you methadone but you have to go to the clinic every single day for 7 weeks.  Too much work there, I don't want to be dependent on anything if I can help it.  Thank you, I'll ask for the Clonidine.

The best non addictive medicine that truly helps with withdrawal symptoms is clonidine. It's a BP medication that lowers your BP and makes many of the wd symptoms much less severe.
