Try some Immodium AD sounds wierd but this stuff is based from an opoid but effects your brain diffrent the recepters in your brain will react backwords or as I have read 9 yrs ago I kicked Norco and Morpheine after 4yrs of consistant use and that stuff helped a lot plus a hot tub and a sleeping pill for night not Valium but maybe Ambien stick with it 4-5 days later life will be good

good luck denise. i am still not clear if you are trying to quit - or just trying to get through until you can re-up? or maybe you are not clear either :) the only thing i will add is on those first days when my back hurt so much i could not sit, lay or stand, everything just sucked - i did find over the counter medication to be some comfort - like aleve or such.
i am around. i am a hydrocodone to subutex user - day 13 here. feeling pretty decent. there is a way. good luck.
thank you for your comment, I have been on all this medication for about 12 years and I am scarred to death of the w/d I already feel like I am dying, but it is good to know there are people to talk to
I found a very HOT bath to be a life saver for me for the aches. Immodium for obvious reasons, vitamins, gatorade so you don't dehydrate, and water. There is a recipe called the Thomas recipe too, google it and there will be a list of things that may help. I wish you much strength with this, and congratulations on taking that brave step in becoming sober! Please keep us posted on how you are feeling. This forum will help tremendously!
I agree with Yankees, Is that what you want? If so start to hit the hot bath that will help with the pain, take advil for headaches and so on. theraflu helps also being as you will feel like you have the flu! Hang in there if that is what you are wanting to do is to stop you are making a huge step forward!
good luck
