When you have all those back problems pain is inevitable and a certain amount of pain your going to have to deal with for the rest of your life........and that really sucks.....

My chiro has a table like that... i think its the same thing.
IBKleen-- so sorry you are having a hard pain day, i have been having quite a bit myself lately. mine has moved into my hands which is awful...
i am thinking of you.. and hoping you get through and tomorrow is a better day.
My chiropractor said she'd love to purchase a decompression table, but they cost over $100,000! Plus, she said if an insurance company were to be billed for this therapy under something else, and the ins.co. were to find out, they'd never pay a claim for anything to her again. She said we could find Dr.s that will do this in Chicago but we will pay a few thousand dollars for the treatment. (!) I read that Rosie O'Donnell had this treatment and she swears by it. (She can also probably afford her own table!)
Gosh I'm so sorry. Obviously, you've been to a chiropractor before - have you ever tried something called decompression therapy? It's supposed to be very helpful in many cases. My dad has spinal stenosis and he is going to try it. He is 70 and he has to deal with severe pain every day. He has to take hydros but he is very disciplined with them. This decompression is still considered experimental, though, so it isn't yet covered by insurance, but I think it's just a matter of time.
hey hun ,
i am sorry you are hurting so badly, I sooooo understand I tend to walk around more these days with a headache the without and it really wears on you after awhile . Don't underestimate your mental strength when dealing with pain. You are doing everything you can to try to deal without meds I have a great amount of respect for you for doing so. I hope you can get some more rest tonight lack of sleep makes pain seem much worse.

I am so sorry to hear you are in pain! There is nothing worse than just not being able to get comfortable. You have been so supportive of others in the posts I have read, I want you to know I am thinking of you..I wish I had better advice to make it go away, but sometimes you just need to "vent"
