I think my days of getting along on norco are over

I'm so scared, im a single mom of 2 children a professional in the medical field. Today i attempted to get a prescription filled with a forged rx from my work. As I was waiting the said they needed to verify with the doctor. I got up and left. Since then my job called me...im havent called back yet.

The withdrawal is already setting in and this feeling is exactly why I did what I did.

Is my life over? When will I be arrested. I have no criminal record at all. I'm afraid I'm going to lose custody of my children.

Just wanted to check in with you before heading to bed.  I agree with Rissa....start a new post tomorrow...a new post, a new start, a new day!  Let's start with that and go from there.

Many, many hugs to you!

As I said above..you wou;d have been arrested already. Now work on getting your life back together. If you are not retaining an attorney and you are not going into treatment then I strongly suggest that you seek counseling and some form of aftercare. This is a very serious thing you did and I pray it woke you up.

IBKleen is right! Some of these responses are scaring me, too just reading them. Listen to her, she's got lots of time:) You have not gotten arrested. You are fine. You don't need to keep worrying. All you need to do is what all of us have done: don't take any pills today. And see about a meeting. If you feel physically fine that is amazing! The mental comes later. Meetings will center you and get you out of your own thoughts. I am going every day for 90 days to start. Oh man, what a difference it makes. Wouldn't it be a relief to reduce your anxiety? As a matter of fact, a woman brought her kid to the mtg last nit. He was about 6, I think. No one is gonna kick you out if you bring a kid. You have family, though, so you can have someone watch em for an hour, right?

Exhale...

I cannot express the sad state of mind I'm in right now....im so scared. I'm so depressed. I just want this to be over. Now I have to call my landlord and tell her I have to break my lease, and be out before the first..its all just too much all at once. My absolute sleep deprivation and lack of food for the last 5 days is bringing me to my knees....

i don't think that anyone is trying to scare her.
being proactive and seeking treatment is the very best thing to do just in case.
the reality of the situation is very scary and i am scared and have been since the day i seen her post.
do you think it is possible to seek outpatient treatment if inpatient rehab is out of the question??
i am assuming you still have health insurance at least til the end of the month.
i think once you get through the detox you will be able to think much more clearly.
do you have a retirement fund that you can draw from to pay rent for a few months???  file for unemployment.  it won't be as much as you were making, but it may be enough to keep you in your home.
like i said, you will be thinking much more clearly in a few days.
hang in there
