Which came first..the chicken or the egg??

I really wish I knew if I had restless legs because of my own predisposition or if taking  norco and then withdrawing time and time again (there was a time when I was not aware that I was in withdrawals, just that I was not taking the happy, evil pills and was feeling crappy and had the restless leg thing) or if the norco actually caused it.

All I know is that I am almost 10 months clean and am finally seeing a change in the severity of the RLS.  I still have it, but instead of having it 3 or more times a day..I am down to about once a day or so.  What a wonderful relief.  I hope this continues to NONE a day.

Also for anyone :"listening"...normal pain *****.  Well, the normal pains that come with hitting your hand or head or foot on something.  I had deadened my pain threshold so much that I am now really feeling it.  LOL...getting used feeling again in real time!

Just wanted to vent a little.  Not really venting as much as sharing and giving a little hope to those who are just coming here.  I promise it gets better...you just have to let the withdrawals be what they are and be patient and know that there is LIFE after addiction!

First off congrats on almost 10 months clean! That's awesome! I know what you mean about RLS I suffered with it now and then before I started taking pills now that I am 15 days clean I am feeling the RLS 10 fold! I can also relate to feeling pain a whole lot more! I bumped my elbow yesterday and it reduced me to tears, like Pat said if I had done that while still taking pills I wouldn't have felt it! Hoping you RLS reduces to none for you!

Hi littlebit
It`s nice to hear from you and sorry you have had to suffer so much with the RLS.  I used to get it when I took too much gravol for sleep and it drove me crazy.  Withdrawals are bad enough without suffering with that.  I chose no sleep over RLS.
I know what you mean about feeling pain.  I stubbed my freaking toe today and the pain was through the roof.  I felt like such a baby but I know if I had done that when I was taking 20 percs a day, I woud barely have noticed it.
I guess we feel everything now.  The good and the bad.
