I'm back

Well, I managed to quit my vicodin dependancy after someone stole my meds. I remained free of the meds for 6 weeks then had a horrible flare up and have been taking vicodin 5/500 for 2 months. I was taking one a day am now down to 1/2 a day , but slip and take a whole one a day or two later.
I have not experienced withdrawl on this dose, but am frightened about what might happen. What should the withdrawl be like after taking 1 a day average for 2 months?
Thanks

Don't think they will be bad at all. You showed alot of restraint keeping at 1 all of that time. I relapsed a few months back and was taking 3-5 and my wds weren't nearly as bed ad before. I agree with ochooked. Sometimes the fear of wds add to what we are experiencing. I would try to keep my mind occupied and I'll bet you have very little. With 6 weeks you were starting to get out of some of the mental stuff. Just keep looking forward. It gets better and better. GBU, Corey

Please lose the fear and go forward.  Most of us have been in the same place where we fear the W/D's more than the drug we are taking -- then when we quit we realize the fear was unfounded.  Quitting is the most important thing to do --  The advantages outweigh the disadvantages by a very long way --- Everything in life is better off the drugs -- we just don't realize it while we are using.  Welcome back to the forum.  All the best.
