So for two whole days I have been doing yard work around my neighbor hood to get money to buy my baby something nice for her birthday. Even tho I have been so sick. (day 6 no methadone) I raised 450$. Needless to say she will have an amazing birthday. And not a dime was spent on methadone. I'm very happy right now. And my daughter will have a sober mommy for her birthday most importantly :)

Congratulations getting off Methadone. I know it's not easy. People who have never gone through Methadone withdrawals have no idea what hell is really like.

I was addicted to it for 10 years and getting it from friends who had scripts. I had a couple close friends die from it over the past 3-4 years and was tired of the grind so decided to go on Suboxone to get off it about 3 years ago. I tapered myself off Sub 4 months ago and never experienced anything close to what I went though coming off Methadone.

Thank you ladies. I feel like hell. But my baby girl is set for her borthday which gives me a good feeling inside. I would foot the end of the world and back for her. And I couldn't just let her have nothing for her borthday. She is my angel. And deserves the world. As of now I'm going to soak myself in a hot shower and watch some movies. Cause sleep doesn't come easily lately.
