Idk if I'm getting close enough on the cows chart to take suboxone. I'm freezing and sweating, can't hold still, trying to throw up but just dry heaving, my stomach hurts, I'm exhausted. I can't take much more but I'm afraid suboxone will make it worse. Help

How long have you been off everything? When do you start suboxone? If you can get thru this sick part than you wont need the suboxone. I know its hell but it is part of wirhdrawal from anything. Taking suboxone can also cause you to go thru this type of withdrawal when you decide to come off. I dont reccomend subs to anyone. But it will help take away those withdrawal symptoms for now if thats what your needing to do. You have to wait the safe amnt of time between taking opiated and subs. Maybe thsts what your expiriencing now? Hang in there you can do this!!! Think abt the reasons you chose to get clean.

I took it off yesterday at 2:00pm I'm suppose to wait 24 hours until 2 pm today. I'm so scared alone I can't take this anymore

Dont beat yourself up. That is the last thing you need right now. Hang on tight and ride it out. You can do this!!! I did it alone with two young kds needing me. There is nothing easy abt this but it can be done!!!!. You are not alone there is so many of us going thru this right now!  And Id say if your feeling better by the time your supposed to take the subs dont take em. Your getting thru the worst part on your own! You got this!!! Good Luck and feel better soon!!!

You CAN do this!  We find out how strong we really are by going through the he11 of detox.   What time zone are you in...how long do you have until 2:00 hits?

I thought about suboxone as well but not sure of when came off of that of it would be just as bad? How much was your daily dose an wht was it of?

Where are you right NOW on the COWS scale?  You should be close if you went off the fent.patch and percs yesterday at 2 p.m.????

I know  you are in the thick of it.....BAD....the fent patch is very strong....
Do you remember how to check where you are on the COWS scale?
You should be REALLY close and the subs will help a bunch once you dose.....let us know.

P.S.  This thread may have confused some that haven't been following you cause you said you were coming off suboxone and percs.....but you're just sick as a dog and meant to say fent patches and percs.  It will get better....

Hey hope I was just wondering if u took ur sub yet and how u feel? Alot better right? For some reason if I took subs after an opiate I don't get sick. ( when I was using) if I didn't have anything I'd take the subs in its place. And sometimes I'd take it 12 hours apart and it didn't hurt me. I'm not saying u should do tht just trying to ease ur mind about waiting exactly 24 hours. If its like an hour off I'm sure u will b good but everyone is different ... I really hope u feel better now pls let us kno!!! Good luck! =]

I'm feeling much better :) thanks everyone for the encourage and support. Now my goal is to be off subs in 21 days everyone on here hold me accountable to do that.

I so just wants to put a patch back on last night it was bad. After about 4 am several baths a some trazodone I was a able to get some sleep 10 minutes here and there but I was still happy about that :) I feel really achy is that normal? My head hurts also and I'm exhausted. But so Halley I made it to my first of many goals. Thank you again for all your support I can never repay you. Another thing I noticed today was the first time in years I actually laughed and was enjoying the small stuff. I feel completely different everything just is more positive.

I just took another 4 mg dose of subs I still have some of the symptoms but no where near what I was going thru

I lost track of days in detox, glad you're feeling better. It will take about 3 days to build up the sub in you body, you will feel much better when things are stable. It's normal to feel a little off at first. By the end of the second day, I was feeling great, working on the roof, digging in the garden, just my normal routine. The headache is infamous. Also, you just put your body through detox shock for 24 hours, you are probably very tired. It will get better and you will be clear enough to build that aftercare support. So happy you didn't give in last night. Nice work so far, time for goal # 2.
