3 days

Well almost 72 hours and Im still plugging along!  I actually feel much better than I did this morning!  I still have that antsy/anxiety thing going on where I just cant sit still but I guess I just have to deal with it for now!  Took the dog out for a walk in the little bit of snow we got last night and that helped a LOT!!!!  And he loves the snow so he was a happy camper...after following me around and around the house for 2 days Im sure he was happy to get out!!!!  He has been such good company for me going through this....he actually listens to me when I talk...not sure what he's actually hearing but he acts like he's listening!  My son brought me home my favorite ice cream last night when he came home but the thought of ice cream right now isnt a good one!  But he was sweet to think of me!  Well thats my day 3!  Thanks for all the support and encouragement!

You're doing fantastic sweetie.   It' s amazing what a short amount of exercise (even better if it is outside) can do for us.

Hang in there...you're on your way!

Congrats to you also! Good for you to go out and get those endorphins going. I also got discouraged when I first started detox and saw people with months and years under there belts, but it ended up motivating me to be one of them, and you will get there, its just going slow right now, but you will be racking up the days before you know it! Youre doing great, you will never be alone on here and everyone supports each other. Keep on keepin on! XOXO Carrie

Congratulations Cricket!! You are doing well and the positivity I hear from you is amazing! That can be a big hurdle in the early days! I know what you mean about your dog helping you, I think I commented on his picture yesterday. It is me and my dog all day most of the time and he listens to me too, and is a huge lover boy and will cuddle with me all day if I let him. He is my ankle Velcro. That antsy/anxiety stuff can really suck .Coming of suboxone it was bad for a long time, so I tried to make myself get up and do things as much as I could, took a lot of deep breaths, and tried to keep my mind occupied. Im happy to hear you are doing so well, and hope its over quickly for you! XOXO Carrie.

Thanks Sarah and Karen!  I woke up this morning without a headache so thats a good thing! I am so glad that the walk helped you to feel better!  It does help a bit getting outside and in the real world again!!!  Our kids and animals are what keep us going!  I bet we are both looking forward to the ice cream one day!!!  :)  We can do this!  Tomorrow will be better than today!!!

almost identical story here!! I will be day 4 at 9 pm tonight.. my husband and I just got back from a walk. We have a market about a half mile from the house so we walkedthere and back. The way there was difficult, but I guess my endorphines kicked in b/c I feel better than I have in a long time right now. Almost like i'm on a high! And, last night my 11 year old daughter brought home my favorite ice cream as well, blue bell's Christmas cookies! (of course my mom was the one who bought it so I'm guessing it was more like a peace offering disguised as a gift from my daughter lol) but I haven't ate it yet either. Even the taste of Diet Dr. Pepper makes me sick right now and thats my favorite indulgence) I'm so happy you've made it three days! Congrats and I hope we can stay on track together!!! It's nice to know I'm not alone. I sometimes get discouraged when I see these ppl with all this time under there belt and here I am at a measly 16 hours or 36 hours.. although.. 3 days (almost 4) seems amazing to me right now!!! Go us!!
