Ive cheated my sobriety

I HAD BEEN SOBER FOR SOM 100 DAYS NOW I HAVE FAILED BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT UP MY DOSE OF METHADONE OR TAKING TO LONG TO UP IT AT THE CLINIC. I EVEN WARNED THEM THAT I WAS WANTING FEELINGS THEY DONT LISTEN. SO HERE I AM SNORTING ROXICETS AGAIN AND VALIUMS EVEN THOUGH I KNOW I WILL FELL A **** TEST IF THEY GIVE ME ONE SOON. IM GETTING NO HELP FRON THEM ANYWAY, AND SNORTING THEM DONT FRRL GOOD ANYMORE WITH THE QUILT OF DOING THEM. I WAS SO PROUD OF BEING SOBER AND I KNOW I WILL BE BACK TO IT AS SOON AS I CAN GET MY POINT ACROSS TO THIS DAMN CLINIC WHO JUST DICKS AROUND AND MAKES IT HARDER ON US. SO THATS WHATS GOING ON HERE.

I'm confused, you say you have been clean for 100 days? but your doing Methadone? I was on Sub for over 100 days, but never considered my self sober. Its another drug addiction... And you want your dosage increased? get off the Meth... Get off the Pills.... Get your life back for Real.. Unless I'm missing something, you have not been sober for 100 days... Time for a reality check...  Now Meth may be a good vehicle for you to get clean.. but its still a physically and mentally addictive drug, I thought you were suppose to taper Meth not increase the dose??  I'm probably wrong here, let me know...

It is so risky mixing all those drugs. There is a lot of help out there if you want it bad enough. Please consider inpatient rehab.

I HONEY I dont know the protocol in the U.S. Clininics,but in Canada,initially they give the patient a ****-test,obviously expecting to see everything,especially opiates,anything from Heroin to tylenol #1,s yes there are people that are addicted to these tllenol #1s because they contain i believe 8mgs of codiene and you can get these silly pills over the counter.In a way they shouldnt even make these Silly-*** pills for Low-end addicts,its like alcoholics drinking Mouthwash pitiful i guess.Ill Pray for that type of substance abuser.AS  most of the sober world probably think of my addictions,they are are the same we dont like the way we Feel!!!. Hay the girl is working hear program,to the best of her ability,and Methadone is a replacement drog,so is Suboxone,so why does she require your designation on whats being sober and whats not. Has it ever occured that some patients are on opiates as a result of a terminal illness,or cronic (chronic),or acute pain syndrom (syndrome).Hay Bud dont generalize different people use opiates for more than just to (GET A BUZZ) So why not give a little support until you know the whole story. Think about it!!!

This should the one place people should be able to come and not be judged. You know nothing about this girl.  Compared to say... a heroin addiction, being on a methadone  program is "clean"

Taking opiates no matter how is not going to help while you are on methodone. Methodone is an opiate blocker,that is why so many opiate addicts once they do the methodone switch to benzos and then find them selves with yet another addiction to overvome. I was on the methodone for a year,I never had to take my dose above 35mg. Nine days ago I quit cold turkey off of 25mg. dose. The reason I didn't taper down was because I had in the past went down to 5mg.,but I couldn't stand the sick so I would go back up.I finally felt the strength to walk away.I will give you this advice and this is only my personal oppinion,Please research the methodone. Talk to people who have been on it.I can honestly tell you I had gone through withdrawls before from opiates,not by choice, and I thought they were horrible. The withdrawl (withdrawal) from methodone is sooooooooooo much worse. There are safer options out there. In any case we all have to do our own individual recovery the way we see fit. You know what you can handle.Don't come down on yourself,this isn't easy.The important thing is you fessed up to slipping,it happens it's part of addiction,. Many of us have been there.Now you just regroup,let go of any guilt,and keep telling yourself you can do this because you can.And when you don't have the strength to tell yourself then reachout and someone else will. I'm sorry I'm a recovering pill addict, who is going thru his angry stage and realizing that  we can do this ... just do it.... By the way I know this has no place here, but reality is your drop dead Gorgeous................
