The internet can be a wonderful thing, but 9x's outta 10, if you're suffering from something or feeling sick and you go to research it on the internet, by the time you're done reading, you'll have convinced yourself that you're dying of some rare disease. Lol. Just go with the flow and treat the symptoms as they come. Don't let your mind play games with you. I'm sure you can do this, ppl do it every day....dammit, I EVEN DID IT! And I never thought I'd get off methadone. So you can do this..for sure :) Good luck my friend. Stay strong!

Thank you. Reading about it made it appear as though it was going to be inevitable. I am thankful to hear it only happens to 8% of the folks going thru this. Trying my best to "live in the now" as u suggest. I do have a hobby....weight training. 3 months ago when I was taking suboxone just to feel normal....I was pushing some decent weight considering my age n size. Worked out minimally today n struggled with 40% of what I was doing 3 months ago. But I did work out so I'm on the right path. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge with me.
You do not have PAWS and you will most likely not get it. the percentage of people who do get it very, very low. It usually hits around 3 months out for that percentage. Hun I really have to suggest that you stay in the "now". If you begin worrying about something that I will bet never happens you will drive yourself crazy. I know it is tough but maybe you can find a hobby. What did you like to do before drugs? Reading? Biking? Whatever it is will be good to keep your focus in the day. Hang in there. It does get better.
