oh my gosh! That's scary...are there treatment centers that you can check into if you do that??? I just want it over with and my life back :(
Hi C/T stands for '''cold turkey'' or just quitting without taper
Thank you for the advice! May I ask what CT'd means?
you should do a really slow taper. getting off benzos was really hard for me. i'm not certain that people will really notice your memory loss as much as you may think. you are hyper aware of it. can you write stuff down? i know a couple optometrists' assistants and yes that is hard work, very detail oriented ... but where there's a will ... i ct'd (a huge mistake) and had terrible wd/s but i did manage to get through it. good luck :)
HI just take it one day at a time as long as you taper slowly you shouldent feel to much my problem was sleep it lasted a good 8 weeks but you do sleep here and there my doctor told me no one ever died from sleep depervation just hang in there you will have good days and bad it is all part of getting of this auful drug we can support you along the way rember YOU CAN DO THIS............

I guess I really just want to know how you are supposed to survive a taper while working...I find it impossible because I work as an Optometric Assistant and will be taking my certification course while working full time too...I get horrible memory loss, and that is NOT good when you are working under a doctor :/ I'm scared everyday someones going to notice how bad my memory really is even on klonapin. I cant take time off as I just started at a new office :( I'm sure everyone knows...we all got bills to pay! Any suggestions?
I don't pass out because my tolerance is so high lol it's been about 4 years on this stuff.
How long does it take though? On my own and with multiple doctors I have tapered many times but I am unable to work due to all the terrible withdrawal effects. I follow a girl on YouTube and it's been 2 years for her and she's had a rough go...also my doses have fluctuated under doctor care and order, so a friend holding them isn't necessary- the dosage wasn't my call. It's amazing how little some doctors know about this drug! I've been through about 7 or 8 :(

please make an appointment with a good detox doctor and have him/her help you with a taper. Do not quit CT because you could have a seizure. Please seek medical advice and don't do this on your own. Don't be afraid and be glad you are educating yourself. You can get yourself healthy.
Ariley13 is correct about tapering off slowly.. How can you take them and not pass out I take xanx 1 the blue one, I take them at night to help me sleep...anyway yes you will need a friend that DONT take them (trust me been there!) A friend will give you the amount you need a day say you allowed 4 well when u get them 4 you got to make them last all day and night... Then the next week go to three and the next week 2 a day...until you are down to one day!!! Hope I helped
Hi there. Are you prescribed the Klonapin by your doctor? Drugs such as Klonapin (Benzos) need to be tapered off of gradually. It can be dangerous to abruptly stop them. You need to talk to your doctor and have them set up a taper plan for you. If you are addicted to them and can't control your intake, you will need a trusted friend or family member to hold them and give them out according to the schedule.
