I was taking about 6 1000 mgs of Norco a day I am trying to reduce that to 3 a day. I started exercising with my husband today, but just the thought of going through WD's terrifies me.  I never thought that I would be addicted to anything, I have tryed a lot of different things when I would party back in my teenage years, but this is the only thing that has got me seriously hooked. Did you get that script from your medical doctor or from a therapist.

By the way, how much were you taking daily? Have you gone cold turkey? When do you plan on starting?

There's not much OTC stuff that's gonna make that much of a difference. You can search this forum for the Thomas Recipe. It has specific suggestions on supplements to use. If you can get a script from a doctor, clonidine is a great drug that lowers the severity of WD symptoms. It was a life saver for me.
