Long Term Effects of Methamphetamine

My question is about the long term effects of using methamphetamines. I had a problem with methamphetamines for about 3 years in my late teen years, where I snorted or smoked the drug. That was over 10 years ago and I haven't used since. I am a very healthy person now. I am wondering if I should be worried about the long term effects of my drug abuse, even 10 years later. Is there anything I can do to know if permanent damage was done, or if I should be seeking treatment for it? I'm not sure if my regular doctor would even know how to approach this question. Is there a certain type of medical professional who could best answer this question? Thank you.

Unless you have a certain problem with something, I would say you got lucky. However, if you "get" a problem of some kind in the future, you may attribute it to the dug use, but somehow I doubt that after ten years-You would know by now.... =)
