Hey Everyone Check It Out........

Some of you may know my story, others dont. But i just want to share with everyone out there that is struggling with an addiction to opiates. I WAS a hardcore user and abuser for almost ten years. Thats right, i allowed those little devils to own and control my every move. I am a nurse and exposed to meds everyday. I work with many that would give me pills everyday. "I" made the decision that it was time to reclaim my life. Three weeks ago today, with an breakable plan in place, a determined, couragious, and positive attitude, several required supplies ie vitamins, gaterade ect. Also the support from.someone that truly loves me. With all of those very important aspects taken care of.......i was ready. I flushed all remaining pills. Yea of course i was scared, i was freaking out. But knew it was time. I stayed close to this forum as the encouragement and support was truly needed. Everyone that replied to my questions or concerns.........not sure i could have done it without you. Thanks so much. So~ today is day 21, and i am on top of the world. Never again will i allow my precisious life to be compramised by pills. My only regret is ; I WISH I WOULD OF DONE THIS SOONER.
All the beat to you all.
Peace and Prayers

Wow, your story is like mine. Tonight I flushed the devils to hell, tomorrow I tell my boss and may the chips fall where they may. This is way more important than a job, especially since I am in a field where getting another job shouldn't be a problem once I am back to being me and healed. You are amazing- 21 days- you are on the home stretch. Whenever you get that craving, just remember the day you felt rock bottom, cause you know it will quickly lead you right back to it.
Hang in there warrior, 21 days from now I hope to be where you are in your recovery. God bless!
