Long term suboxone use

I have been dupped into suboxone use for a mild Hydrocodone dependency after a shoulder,( rotater cuff) surgery. Here it is 3 years later, still on subs and misserable. Terrible long term side effects,mental and phycical. My Dr.is convinced there is no long term effects , he is wrong and has no clue. Has there been any new information on stoping suboxone use. It is taking a toll on my mental and pysical heath???

Let . How much u on cos it depends on how much u on to how long it takes to get out of ur system. It has a half life of 36hrs. don quote me on that.
Cold turkey Monday morn 7am- 2 mg
                        Tuesday night 7pm -1 mg.
                         Thursday morn 7am-.5mg
                         Friday night 7pm-.25mg
                          Sunday morn 7am-.125
                          
lack of sleep and restless legs were my 2 big issues to overcome.

Ur right there's not enough study yet. I even had to sign a waiver that cos I was preg on the program, if anything happened to my baby there was no comeback on them. That's sayin sumthin. I was on the methadone for 7 yrs then switched over to subs to get off. I went down to 2.5 on the methadone then had to wait 1 day b4 starting suboxone, started on 6mg + stopped altogether when I got down to 1.mg. I'm not gonna say it didn't hurt but I withdrew from methadone 10yrs earlier and wanted to die. If I hadn't made myself be 4 hrs away from the nearest city I prob wuda relapsed. It took about 3 days of bein really sick, about 4wks where I still couldn't function as a mum + that was more due to the lethargy, new routine + my nervous system getn back to normal. Its been 19mths now + the pain I went thru and the feeling I was never gonna b that person I used to be cos I felt I was always gonna b stuck in that hell, has made me even more determined to stay off opiates. I feel stronger now than any drug ever made me. U can do it.
