Lorcet abuse

I have just found out that a family member has been taking upto sixty 10 mg lorcet tablets each month with forged prescriptions. Should I be concerned? Also I feel very betrayed and sad and alot of other things is there anywhere to talk about all this.

The eagle is dead right. Just a matter of time, and probably not much, until that person will get busted. It may already be too late. Get 'em off NOW, by whatever means is necessary.

Of course you should be concerned about forged prescriptions....60 hydro's a month isnt an incredible amount - but what else is being obtained?  And its only a matter of time if the scripts are false....too many paper trails these days to do that - I hope the individual desires to get well.......good luck

Concerned yes not only addictive but illegal. Addiction makes the family feel betrayed and eventually will tear one apart both physically and mentally. Counseling for the family is a good start because they become ill in their own way and need help to understand and the party you are speaking of needs to be confronted by a few other loved ones.
Hope this helps some. However they have to WANT help before it will do them any good.
Good luck and God bless
