Well he has taken all sorts of pain meds at different times in his life. But with lortab he has been taking it for about 3 months. And his surgery was 1 week ago. He has gotten pain meds from all sorts of friends, family and this is why I'm so concerned. He is also on Anti depressants which he started taking about the same time.
You say he was taking meds before his surgery for how long to your knowledge?
How long has it been since his surgery?
My husband starting taking the meds prior to his surgery and a lot of things started changing between us so as a women you try to figure things out. So I went through everything as of questions with him at that time I didnt suspect the meds I thought he was cheating on me but as I went on trying to figure things out it drew me back to the meds thats when all the changes started to happen. So after the surgery his doctor that done the surgery gave him 2 more scrips for stronger lortab and he was spose to take 2 every 4 to 6 hours which I didnt think nothing of it but when he kept getting up after like 2 hours after taking his meds and going to the bathroom I got a little curious so I followed him with out him knowing and found him in his drawer and asked him what he was doing and he said nothing well after the 3 time of doing that I went and checked his drawer and found 12 more lortab pills. And my husband has been very secretive about his meds he wont tell me how many his doctor has prescribed to him nor will he bring them in the house he keeps them in his car.
Welcome to the forum....
Your post lacks many details of why you would be so suspicious of drug abuse......
I get the feeling your leaving a lot of details out of your post.......
My question to you is why would a shoulder surgery and pain meds after the surgery suggest drug abuse........
