Made it through the night!

36 hours since my last norco and moving forward.

I had 2 really bad hours last night where it felt like I was hot and cold at the same time and the stomach stuff started. I paced, I drank some vitamin water, and I kept reminding myself that it will pass. Thankfully exhaustion and valium kicked in and I got some decent sleep.

Ready to face the rest of Day 2...

Best wishes to everyone else!

Thanks so much guys!!

It's definitely great to have this board when I'm home alone.  Hubby won't be back until about 5. I tried to time things so days 3-5 he would be home the majority of the time.

The hot bath thing really is miraculous!

Go Missy!  I agree with the hot bath thing.  That sensation when you get in and your whole body gets all happy with the tingling of the hot water.  It is so soothing.

Im at the same place you are right now.  About 36hrs in.  I know what you mean when you talk about not knowing if your hot or cold.  I must have taken my shirt off and on 10 times last night.  Im also fighting a bad head cold.  No body aches though.  This is my 3rd time in a week and a half having wd's.  i know, stupid.  These wd's are MUCH easier than a week ago. I could actualy go to work if i had to.  I guess i weaned a little with the days off inbetween using.

It helped me when I felt real bad to get into a hot bath or shower.  Day or night it will make you feel better. Keep hanging in there and fighting. Great job on reaching day 2! Stay on line it helps to reinforce your goals.

Just remember "This too shall pass" I think of that  when something makes me want to use whither its a thought or a feeling (pain)  I procrastinate using and think "this too shall pass".  Drink water, stay warm and move when you can.
