Congratulations on your clean time!
Try a hot bath prior to getting ready for bed. Sleep is one of the last things to get back to normal, hang in there, it will get better.
Good luck
Sleepytime tea before bed helps along with melatonin. And unisom helps too and I found it to work better than any other OTC sleep aid (tylenol pm or advil pm) cause it didn't make me jittery. And a hot shower or bath before bedtime can be very helpful too. Bananas and toaast with peanut butter and a glass of milk can also help promote sleep .
Good luck to you I know not sleeping is a bear, but it passes. And I'd find that if I had a night or two of bad sleep or no sleep, it would eventually catch up to me and I'd finally fall asleep. Albeit 2 or 3 hours at a time, but I was grateful for any zzzz's in the those days. :)
That stinks! I'm not sure what I am going to do!
I feel u 100 . Sleep is priceless, I've learned that in the past week. My nightly tonic for sleep is melatonin, Valeriun root, 5HTP, and an Epson salt bath. It may help, may not. I'm not sleeping well either. Short bursts of sleep during a mostly restless night. Hang in there.
Congrats on a week and a half clean off norco. Sleep is really hard to come by at first, but it will come. Melatonin also works for some. How long are you planning on taking the ambien?
