It totally depends on the person each individual is different

If you were an active user of alot the dose is higher and the lower it...Meth is a years committment....therefore...alot of people will become addicted over time...

its a double edged sword

That depends on the individual. Some go to a clinic to start detox right away, and some will be there for life because they feel they can't stop. I first went to the clinic because I thought I could not handle the withdrawal any longer. It was an easy way out. A legal way to get my drugs (if you will). That was a major mistake on my part, but at the time I was just looking to feel better, and they do supply that, at a price. Methadone clinics are in business for one reason. To make money! They will start you out at about 30mg and continue to increase your dose as long as you tell them to do so up to (at my clinic 150mg). And that is sad because you will feel no differant at 150 than you do at 30. Trust me I know. And that is my point, if you go for the wrong reason, you will tell them you need more and more, thinking, as I did (hey if I'm gonna pay 10 bucks a day I want as much as I can get) not knowing that you really don't need it and it really will not help, only hurt in the long run. Sorry for rambling on but when I see someone ask about a methadone clinic I just feel compelled to repley.

Also, if you become dependant on the methadone, it take 3-6 weeks to detox compaired to much less for the other opiates.
