Thanks for replying. I feel so helpless and really thought I beat this. I have no help from the MD's that wrote the RX. They don't know how to wean off of this horrible drug. I've been doing pretty well with the physical withdrawal symptoms and taking Melatonin to sleep. Right now, it's the anxiety and depression that I have to get past. It's so difficult since I started back to work. If I was still on my FMLA and at home, it definitely would be a lot easier. As far as supplements, I'm not aware of them. Could you suggest? I'm thinking if I take half of a 50 mg tablet twice a day for a week and then half once a day for a week. Does that sound like I'm on the right track? Thanks.
Hi!! I was addicted to tramadol for about 5 years, 50-60 pills a day. The withdrawals from tramadol are the worst, I personally, have ever experienced (not trying to scare you). The physical withdrawals will definitely stick with you for a while, then the mental withdrawals will hit. Maybe since you weren't on it very long they won't last as long as mine did. Please keep posting and let us know how your doing. Stay strong!!!
Yes, the withdrawal symptoms are not pretty and definitely not fun!!! Are you taking any kind of supplements to help you through? You will hear from everyone that sleep was the hardest part of going through the withdrawal! Try melatonin....lots of people say it helped them a lot!!! Your sleep will come back its just going to take time!!! And like Dozeman said a hot bath with Epsom salts will help you to relax!!! Are you still taking the 25mg or have you stopped completely? Keep posting and let us know jow you are doing!!!
Glad to see you tapered this The Trams are a tuff one for sure you will just have to tuff it out they stick with you a while a hot bath is the only thing that helped me to relax a little while look up the Thomas Recipie it helped me but as far as sleep I cant think of anything that helped me so others will be along soon with more advice
