Mixing Heroin and Wellbutrin

Does anyone know if there is any specific danger in using Heroin while on Wellbutrin? Asside from, of course, the normal dangers of Heroin use. Wellbutrin being a SDRI, would it cause an overload of dopamine resulting in an easy overdose? Or would it be similar to the dangers of mixing it with alcohol - rare risk of seizure?

In the long term ALL antidepressant drugs can severely alter your brain chemistry.  Wellbutrin is just as bad if not worse than any drug you will find on the street when used for years and years.  You will find yourself researching how to deal with withdrawals from Wellbutrin.  Your doctor does not want to you use natural methods, he wants you to spend your money.  Doctors are trained by the FDA to think and work this way.

Thanks all for your comments. I didn't know Wellbutrin was so bad. What makes it such a dangerous drug? Is it the list of sides? Don't all drugs list a lot of sides?

I dont know how much this is going to help but I just went to Wikipedia for you and the side effects are huge. Tell her if she has the Wellbutrin in her system and she uses that the half life is 10hr IR and 17hr SR. Damn. That stuff is bad. I hope you can get a proper answer for her. Sorry and good luck.

I just did some research on Wellbutrin I think that drug is much more dangerous then Heroin.......

Why are you taking it?

Sorry, it wasn't meant to be a "smart @ss" comment.

I use heroin quite a bit in the past and just know it's a very dangerous thing.  I mixed it with other things and so I'm just saying...yeah it's a bad thing to mix drugs/medications/ect.

Try to get this person serious medical help.  People should NOT be mixing anything like this...it can only make things worse.
