health care rant

There is not a single addiction specialist in my town that is taking new patients on an out-patient basis.   All 10 of them are closed to new office patients.  However, several of them also own suboxone clinics and will treat you on an outpatient basis for a minimum of 1 month -- for $3500-$4000.00.  I think this is such a disservice to the community, not to mention such an inhumane, money-grubbing tactic.
