xanax withdrawl

It has been ten days since I took any xanax and I have been taking Klonopid per my docto,r everything has been going fine until last night when I woke up very warm  and sweating,I thought the klonopid would prevent any withdrawl symptoms, will they get worse again I am very worried.

it wont matter up to a point in time,,cuz xanax is the top dog of benzos..even though your on klonpin it may take some time to adjust to the withdralws..like if you went to detox..they would give you atavains,,them are also like klonopins there long acting..but they have this special thing about how they work..so if they gave you ataivains  they also give you phenobarbital so you wont have a seizure...10 days you say you been off xanax..depending on your stop dose depends on alot...and also what dose of klonpin are you on...i cant say the ratio of the xanax to klonpin..but if you woke up sweating this is a sign of benzo withdrawals..10 days isn't anything to a withdrawal from xanax..i was on 2.5 mgs aday in Feb..i wanted to detox to 1 mg..i backed off 1 1/2 mgs wile still taking 1 mg..in 2 days i couldnt sleep,,in 9 days i was in the E.R.  possible seizure activty.. IM IN NO WAY SAYING THAT THE SWEATING IS CARVED IN STONE THAT,,THAT WAS THE CASE..BUT BY WHAT YOUR SAYING SOUNDS TO MUCH LIKE A WITHDRAWAL...ONLY YOU CAN REALY SAY HOW YOUR FEELING.. xanax is a real tough one to break..thats why docs dont like them...im on 2.5 mgs aday..0.5 at 5aday..been on this dose 2 yrs..been on klopin 5 yrs ..was on klonpin 11 yrs prior to xanax..panic attacks....i took the max dose of 4 mgs aday of klonpin.. to this day any log acting benzo is alot better than xanax..KLONOPIN 1/2 life varies from person to person avg 36-90 hrs... xanax avg is 11.2 hrs 1/2  life..so the time i start in the am by night 1/2 of that is gone..in ur case you still have the 1/2 life at work for days after ur 1 dose!!!!!!!! Hey we all don't know everything that's why we are here to help each other out. A benzo should not be just stopped it needs to be tapered very slowly due to the rick of serious side affects. When comming off a benzo people REAllY need to be under the care of a  doctor.

It cannot be done.  ct is a death march on benzos. klonopine is the right thing. Your body can go into a shock, trembles, fever, circualation, organs and death. The K pins will do its job, now its just a notion if she will try the xanies again.     god bless.

what your doing is substituting one drug for another which never works u need to talk to your doc and probably go c/t

Your doctor switched you to a long acting benzo which is the usual thing to do when you taper off a short acting benzo like Xanax.
Try to make an apt with your doctor and see if it's normal.

it may not have anything yo do with the xanax it cold be many other things you maybe coming down with something or just got over heated .10 and on klonopin I am not a doctor so I cant say for sure that its not the xanax but there are other possibilities .

Is klonopid like valium?  How long are you perscribed this for?  If it is like valium just know that it too can be addictive also. You may experience discomfort when you stop but the sooner the better.  The few days you will suffer will be a small price to pay for all the discomfort and loss you would experience as a using addict.
