I am sensing that your friend is young and hasn't been doing this for long?

if that is the case than tell everyone you can that will be able to stop her and get this under control before it is too late. keeping it a secret is not going to help her one bit.

one day she will see that and know that you were the best friend possible.

Justme is absolutely right...please don't give up on your friend. I don't mean you have to put yourself in dangerous situations....but make sure they know if they need you that you are are there no matter what!

Meth is horrible. I did it for 5 years. It does ruin your life. Completely. I lost all of my friends, My family lost faith in me... and two of my friends killed themselves from being on that drug. If I were you I would do anything I could to help your friend stay away from this drug before it ruins them. And dont give up on them or stop being their friend because there will be a time when they need you most when they do actually want to quit and you need to be that person they can always count on.

I have tried it before...but was not addicted to it. However, my best friend of 18 years got hooked on it. She met up with a guy who was on it...he'd traded his boat for it, lost jobs, lost his wife....his kids are all in a bad way b/c they now use. My friend let it drag her down too... I didn't even recognize her when she was on it. She went from there to a serious pill habit...all kinds of pills in strong amounts. Her life was in such ruins and I couldn't do a thing to help her and I had to step out for awhile. They had 4 of their kids living with them (5kids total between the two) at the time...the water would be shut off for a week at a time, the phone... car repo'd. She would just take pills and go to bed. I do have to commend her b/c she did turn her life around ON HER OWN! She left the town she was living in they moved out to the country near her family and things are going well. The BAD thing is now her 2 older kids really resent her and have nothing to do w/her and have moved in w/their Dad. They tell her they hate her and she ruined their lives and she barely even remembers what all went on. I am proud of how she is now...but I feel bad for her kids and what they had to see and endure.

Please STAY AWAY FROM IT...ANY DRUGS FOR THAT MATTER!!!!

HI, I am going to re-post.... this post I did about a week ago. I asume you talking about crystal meth? If you can, get the person to read this.......

"But what I can tell you is stay the HELL away from Meth! I was a $500.00 a week habit in the late 80's. I started out as a weekend user and quickly evolved into a full blown "tweeker". It ruined my life. i was in my 20's with a great marrige and a beutiful 2 year old boy and a promising career. It took EVERYTHING away from me and left me bankrupt, divorced and a part time Dad and i almost lost that privilge also. I did things on that drug that i never thought I was capable of. I lost my high school sweetheart and every bit of self respect. I even lost my upper teeth. I had to start wearing a upper denture plate at 35 years old. It friggen ruined me.
The only way i finaly got off of Meth was the pain was so bad with the broken heart, it physicly hurt when I did a line. I have turned my life around since, but I lost so much i can NEVER get back. I am bitter torward the drug now.
Please take my word on this, Meths bad, ok? Seriosly, it will take you to new lows you never thought you were capable of and its a ***** to get away from. By the grace of God i survived. Many of my friends from back then didnt. Some are homeless and some are in prison. I thankfully lost touch with the rest. It was a horrible era in my life that i will NEVER forget but wish i could. I disgusted myself. "

Its a VERY bad drug. Super addicting, you think your on top of the world at first, then suddenly, you cant stop. It WILL take over your life and ruin everything and you. Have a sit down chat with the person. Back in the laste 80's when i was addicted, there wasnt much help ot there for a meth user. Now, there is a lot of help availible. Surf the web, you'll find some good sites for help. Have the person post here also if thier comfortable. I found posting here anonomysly and writing about my addictions has heled mereally face my problems and start to get back on track.
I wish you two the best,
peace-Dez
