Naltrexone or Cambral

Hi Gang, Going to the dr. this morning at 11:00. I am going to request one of these drugs from her. Any of you have any advice on which would be better to stop the craving for alcohol? I have gone a week,but i know there is a trigger right around the corner. Maybe the next warm, nice day. I will post this on the alcoholism board also. Thanks. Tjack

I haven't heard of cambral but I know that naltrexone has been used for a long time and with successs.

Thank you. She wouldn't prescribe either one until she checks into them. She doesn't know much about either. I reminded the nurse to remind her. So hopefully they will do it. Thank you for your response. I also hear the cambral is really good. I posted on the alcoholic site as well. Have a good one. I am off to aa meeting at 10:30 this morning.
