Need a few positive comments

I was taking paraxotene for 10 years. No problems getting adjusted to taking it, however a few problems getting off of it.  I was taki ng the drug for severe headaches 10 years ago  My doc weaned me from this drug for about ten days.
Today is the third day not on the drug and I am a  little nauseated and can"t sleep well.  I also have the "brain shivers everyone talks about.. Could someone tell me if this they have experienced an O.K withdrawl.
I have read such horrible reports on the web.  I am not depressed, just feeling a little yucky.
Hope someone has some good news for me!   Thanks!
sis jane

Yep, I took it years ago. I thought the effects were more like brain"zaps". BUT...it lasted only a week at the most and the symptoms lessened every day...hang in there...=)

I am sorry...I can't remember what paraxotene is....what is the brand name? My best guess would be it is normal but I am not a doctor or a nurse.....I have not heard of brain shivers.... ????

Fill me in on what the drug is and that may help me help you some more!
