Need help with vicodin/suboxone w/d

So I was taking about 4 yellow vicodin a day for about a year and stopped doing them using subs. I havnt taken subs in over two weeks and no vikes in 6 days. So now I'm 100% clean 6 days. I still feel like ****. Can't sleep well and restless legs and very fatigued. I just wanna know how much longer I have to wait to feel okay! It's been 2 weeks since subs and almost a week no vikes. Just trying to see how much longer I need to wait before I can function right and eat right again. Please let me know.

Sub W/D can last about 16 days, you will still feel kinda crappy for another week or so. Im on day 20 with no methadone and today is one of the crappy days. mostly just anxious and tired. but that's about it : )

You will notice though that the bad waves will become less frequent, so every day you will feel a little bit better. Take it one day at a time and don't worry about the future too much. Its just a fact that you will get better soon : ) so all will be okay : )

Try to get some exercise in like even walking or play some basketball for 10 minutes youl be surprised how much better you feel after : )

Thank you everyone for commenting so fast. That really makes me so happy. I should probably give you guys a little history about myself. I'm only 19. When I was 17 I started taking them but I never had a problem. When my gramps passed away about 9 months ago I took a bunch more than I should have. Not even realizing. I didn't even know this could happen honestly. I've never had an addiction problem with anything in my life. I have been trying to quit for months but I keep failing bc I cannot get through these w/d. I ended up making it worse by getting subs from a friend bc now it's day 7 and I still feel ******. Anyway I just wanted to fill you guys in and say thank you so much for your instant help. I shall keep you all updated. I will admit I feel a bit better today than yesterday but in all honesty I think it's thanks to all of your nice comments!

I agree with the others.  Lots and lots of fluids, Gatorade by the tons, protein shakes in the morning and afternoon, Aleve or Bayer back and body aches works for the pains (but the Amino Acid Protein Shakes will be best) so you are not taking more pills.  Sleep is tough.  Get some Melatonin from GNC and Benadryl.  They will help get you a bit sleepy.   Really hot showers and Really hot baths are the best for the anxiety while tossing and turning.  Exercise as much as you can. Sweat as much as you can.  These two things will get the "garbage" out of you quicker and start giving you natural endorphins.  Push the fluids as mentioned.   Oh yeah....if you can try getting some sun.  It helps ease the tension and gives you extra vitamins.   Keep up the great work.  It gets better.  Just one day at a time right now.

It's been 23 days free of sub for me.  I still have trouble sleeping but the rls should be done for you in the next couple days.  Try getting some excercise!

Have you tried the Thomas Recipe (it can be found on the bottom right of this page). Try the recipe minus the xanax or Valiums, I used it when I was going through w/d and indeed it did help. Also keep your self hydrated & nourished this will help you get through the w/d process. You should try to get some sort of exercise to kick-start your metabolism which will also help.

You should start feeling better in 7-10 days so Keep on Keepin on the good fight you are almost there. Once you get there you should think of getting some aftercare so you stay sober. Good luck and I will be praying for you---Rick
