Formula for Weening off Lortab

Does anyone have a quick formula for weening off Lortab?

I have been taking anywhere from 4-12 pills per day.  Lortab 10/500

I am sick & tired of demending on pills to feel "normal".

Would weening off them be better than wuitting cold turkey?

i would wait as long as possible between takin them...i also would take as few as possible..if you can make it on two...just take two...stay at two several days and after that drop by 1/4s....just break it a 1/2 and then bite the half in 1/2 and lose a 1/4 of one every few days

On Saturday I took like 14 pills.  Sunday, I took 6.  Yesterday I took 2.  Today, so far, I've only taken 1/2.
I feel really weird.  I actually puked twice yesterday.  Felt like I was sick as **** all night last night.  Today, I feel strange.  Should I take anymore or try to toughen it out for a few more minutes?  I have 1 & 1/2 in my pocket.  I have 50 @ home.  Please give me some encouragement and/or advice.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Thanks for the advice.  I actually only took 2 pills yesterday.  I was taking them 1/2 @ a time, about every 3-4 hours or so.  My body definetly felt it.  I feel weird as ****.   Told my family that I thought I was getting sick.  I'm going to try the same thing today, if not do better,.  I've gotta get off these evil pills.
Thanks to all for the support & advice.  God Bless you all!

I agree with avisg. If you were taking anywhere from 4-12 a day starting off at 6 to 7 a day sounds about right along with dropping 1 every 3 days or so. If it seems like to drastic of a drop, (and your body will let you know) you could drop by a 1/2 a pill each time. One thing about tapering is to listen to your body. You won't be withdrawal free, but in my opinion it helps so much. At least you are able to function while tapering. Once you are down to 3 pills or so, cut them in half or even quarters. One other thing I did while tapering is only took a pill if needed. I would try and drag out the time between doses as long as possible. It's surprising how long you can actually go between doses if you try this. Be sure not to take say 3 at once while tapering. Keep on your taper program. For example, if you forget to take a dose, don't double up to make up for it. I would also start the amino acid protocol asap. Also be sure to eat healthy, push the fluids, and most importantly EXERCISE! Exercise helps so much. I have tapered in the past and felt little to no withdrawals. Granted, I didn't feel 100% but close to it.
How many were you taking a day most of the time? This may help you figure out where to start on how many to take per day.
Just stay mentally strong and you will get through this. Be sure to post and post often. Also, read as many posts as you can and answer others It will keep you motivated. Hang in there and tell yourself every second of every day that you will succeed! Best of luck!

Go down a pill every 3or 4 days until you are off of them if toy take between 4-12 I would start around 6 or 7 you also should look into recovery care getting off them is the easy part staying off them is the hard part.
