Need some information on recovery options

Can some of you be so kind to give me some information for outlets to help me get off Perc's that won't cost a small fortune? What is Alnon? And what is the difference between AA and NA? I also have seen posts about "aftercare"? I even think I saw a post about phone sessions for AA? Any suggestions would be great... ;)

So very welcome, Also you can Google "NA Basic Text PDF" and you can read the blue book for free. Its hard to put down when you start reading it. The stories of members was my favorite.

Hi Victoria, Al-Anon is a support and education organization for the family members of addicts. Its kind of a parallel program for the family while the user, or addict is in treatment.

AA was the original 12-step program for Alcoholics. (Alcoholics Anonymous.) It is the forerunner to NA (Narcotics Anonymous,) CA (Cocaine Anonymous), and others. There are like dozens of these types of programs all over the world. Since AA is the oldest, there are meetings virtually everywhere. NA is also very prevalent in the US. It is a twelve step program that took created its charter from AA's. It is like a sister organization, but with no official affiliation to AA. NA is very uplifting, and is for anyone struggling with any type of drug. You can and should get a sponsor, and you will hear wonderful stories that will sound like yours. It's a great place for support and No one judges or is judged. Copy-paste the link into your browser (below) if you want to find a meeting in your area. The are held daily, often many times a day.

give yourself a present and go,
