You just put the biggest smile on my face. Noone knows that I have this issue besides you guys so to have you say I did something brave just meant the world. And you know what...I am proud. THANKS!
What a bold and courageous step you've made. I too had to dry up my suppyy, and it was extremely hard. Good going! You should be so proud!!
I cant imagine how that feels. Its makes me excited to quit. I read that one person felt empowered...awsome. For some reason in my head I just imagined that everyday you still feel like you want to take it, that life is not as good without it. I am still taking 1 and a half a day, its such a mental thing for me. I take my last half at like 2 pm and dont take another half until like 8 in the morning so now I am a LITTLE less fearful of withdrawls because I would figure that I would really want that half in the morning and I dont. Its kind of like after I have been up for a while I feel like I have to take it. Luckily I cut off all resources to getting anymore. I called the doc and asked to not be perscribed any and I called the pharmancy so that should do it. You success has really inspired me, thank you for sharing.
Ga Guy - thank you buddy... you were a BIG help in doing this, so thank you again...
I'm sorry you're still having some symptoms, but I have to believe those are only going to get better and better... you've been clean for awhile now from what I recall. So YOU should be so proud! :-)
I'm having a light withdrwal also..the clonidine does work, but it's not a miracle. I experience the anxiety, mood swings, also. Great job on 9 days. They start to add up quickly after 10 or so. You should be so proud!!
Bill - thank you so much.... :-)
TZ - night and day from yesterday. I forgot about the emotional swings, even tho you told me.. :-/ But great today...
Joos - YES. It's WAY better if you can get it. I was tired alot through day 5-6, but that was about it. None of the other stuff. Well, my tummy is still jacked, but that's abou ti...
Marcatj thats awesome!! I plan on trying to quit with clonidine also. I FINALLY got a dr appt yesterday to try to get some and he wouldn't give me any!! I'll just have to try somewhere else. Is it really better than quiting without it?

Thats my girl!! You sound great hun, we are gettin it this time!!!
In your corner always,

I'm on day 3 and once you get it in your head that YOU are stronger than a pill it only makes you empowered to believe that YOU can do ANYTHING! I haven't had a day of being clean from Hydro's in over 10 years and I'm at 50 hours...if I can do it you can. Just think of all the wasted times of your life under the influence of drugs and realize how lucky you are to be able to quit for even this long.. These posts are filled with trying and trying again, relapses and tomorrow I'm going to start....you are there.
Hour at a time.
Bill

Very good!!! I'm so happy for you! Keep it up.
You go girl!!!!! Good for you! You're right...you can do it!!
