New on Suboxone

I have been on morphine sulfate ER for the past year.  Just yesterday, I began taking suboxone (after having had my last and final dose of the MS ER 26 hours earlier).   My doctor told me that I would feel better, but I didn't.  In fact, I went home and went straight to bed.  Although I didn't sleep very much, I just felt very flat and lethargic and tired.
Today, I woke with a tad more energy, but seem to be ending the day feeling the same way - tired, flat, lethargic.
Yesterday, I took 28 mg and I think today will be 28 mg too.  I'm my doctor's first patient since he got certified to prescribe suboxone, so we are both feeling our way along, to an extent.  He has given me some latitude with how many mgs I take so that I can self-titrate.
I have not felt better, although I don't really feel worse.  Pretty much, I feel the same as before - low energy, difficulty concentrating and focusing, trouble with memory.  Is this just because I'm only on day 2?  Will I feel better after more time?  Am I taking too much of the sub?  Too little?
Any advice would be appreciated.

when you say you overdosed, did you go out literally and end up in the hospital? Or did something physical occur? Im getting ready to start subs and my bottle says 8-2 milligrams,,and it says to take it 3 times a day under the tounge and let disolve??

Are you sure you took 28mg? That's an awful lot. I believe you mean two 8mg tablets, right? Anyway, I'm on sub 10 days now and it took a couple days to get adjusted. I took three 8mg tablets in the first 24 hours and it was way too much. My doc even told me I overdosed, and i believe he was right. This is a very powerful drug! I'm not taking only half a pill (4mg) and that is plenty.

It's not uncommon to have a couple of rough days of adjustment. It's also not uncommon to not be at the right dose at the beginning... Will send you a message with how you can hopefully get this better answered.
