Normal hydrocodone withdrawls???...

hello. I have been prescribed to hydrocodone for only about a month because i broke my arm.  now that the pain is gone (at least what's worth taking medication for) I stopped taking the medicine for it.  It's been about four or five days now and i am experiencing extreme, extreme, anxiety and even some crying spells.  Is this part of the withdrawl or something else???  I only ask because i broke my arm earlier this year too and was on even more pain medication for longer and all I experienced was restless sleep for the second and third night.  Nothing even remotely comparable to how I feel now. this is the worst feeling ever!!!!

Each time you withdraw it seems some new and terrible symptom rears its head. Don't panic and just take it for what it is. This too shall pass. Drink lots of water, avoid caffeine and try to stay busy. If you feel like crying, then do it. Don't over analyse and don't dwell on this. It will go away.
Remember how you are feeling and know that each time you go back on pain meds the symptoms get worse with each WD.....get off the stuff now while you still have a life.

Relax and just breath.
You will be okay
Stay strong,

hi, being weepy and panicky can be part of withdrawals , and also depression can come after a badly broken bone, its all a shock to your system, try some valerian root for relaxation, if it continues , i would go to my dr. and see if can get any help, take care.
