Question.... Hope someone can answer. How long does nausea last? 5 days without. Nausea is at peek in am- but throughout the day. Horrid!

Hey, keep your head up.  You're going to be okay in the end, just keep your eye on the goal and you will achieve it.  I know that it's hard right now (understatement) but it's going to get better!!!  You're going to get YOU back and with that YOUR LIFE.  Don't give in!!!  Keep posting when you feel down okay!  Keep yourself busy busy busy and distracted so you don't have time to think about the pills.  You CAN do this!!!

I'm feeling week . Thanks for responding- but I've been thinking of taking a pill. I think of the future and don't know how I will make it on such low energy . With kids- house- work. Need encouragement.

Hey Kim,

The nausea was tough for me after c/t from Norcos also. Try and force yourself to eat at least a banana or something(....crackers like Gnarly said) in the morning and then take your supplements/meds. I'm on Day 18 and I still can't take my trickload of supps. on an empty stomach.

As for the tears...my Day three was a shocker!! I didn't even want to be around me!! Biggest wussy EVER! That too shall pass I promise. You are doing awesome, coming off Norcos is tough stuff!!

I pray it passes. Still nauseated. Hope I didn't mess stomach up. Does that happen??? Oh crap! Scared and nauseated. Thanks for responses. I have crackers/ gingerale.

Call your Dr. and let them know that you are not able to keep the promethazine tablets down. Promethazine also comes in suppositories as well as a topical form that you rub onto the inner part of your wrist (I would ask for this version!). Ginger ale also works wonders for nausea! Hang in there! This too will pass!

well that su cks well back to the home cures a bottle of 7 up and soda crackers yuor just going to have to see if you messed up your stomach with your use if this dosent get better in a week time to see a gastro specialist good luck with this one .......Gnarly

I did. They gave me prothamazine or something but I vomit as soon as I take it. Didn't work. I would b fine if not for nausea. I told my dr everything . ......

HI Kim call your doctor in the morning explane everything be honest.....they can call something in for the nausea you will only need it for a few days but theres no reson to suffer if you dont have to good luck and God bless......Gnarly

Immodium. It stopped rubs- but nausea is bad. And physiological kicking in. D-pressed!!!!

It's usually different for everyone.  My husband only had it for like 3-4 days......Have you tried to take anything for it?
