79 days :)
today marks 79 days that I made the decision to take my life back.
So Many obstacles I have had could of turned into excuses I made for myself as to why I relapsed. But I never gave up and I just took it at first one hour at a time now Its one day at a time and each day is better than any day i was using pills.
I love this Place Med Help its my sanctuary.
I am truly blessed with my Life and my sobriety!

Best advice I have gotten on here two Things 1. Get rid of pill source 2. Aftercare is mandatory!

Sonrissa do you remember the first days I was screaming about my Guy Just him breathing made me crazy I was a ranting mess and I remember you Told me HEY Calm down take a step back you sound crazy LOL
I had to go back a look and man o man was I ever Crazy sounding!
Thanks for always reeling me in and calling me out and giving me so much support through all my obstacles especially My accident! and My surgery You and Kyle both told me I could make it through that and still be clean and You were both right! ;-)
And I remember my first encounter with Kyle I had said i had a few pills but I was not going to take them and I was 2 days into my c/t w/ds.
He about came over the Computer and Told me basically Are you going to do this or not! Then get in there and Flush those pills Flush or get off the pot! You decide!
It made me mad but it also stuck in my head all his words they were100% true!
Thank you everyone! and for those of you that are on your first days and it feels like You are dying you wont you can do this and you wont die. You will Live and have a better life. You have to Fight for it and you can win. Get rid of your pill source you cant make it without doing that! It will cause you anxiety knowing those pills are still available get it over with flush em cancel refills redflag yourself!
Those are the steps you have to take and then also AFTERCARE . AFTERCARE! Dont make excuse as to why you cant do it there are many forms of aftercare ! NA meeting Group therapy Private one on one.
You will ensure that you stay clean and dont relapse.

whoot whoot congratulations I'm celebrating in my heart for you, I totally agree with those quotes they are some of my faves to and they are so true. and you also have been a huge support to all of us on here I agree never go away your words touch so many ppl who need you and you are always there for them. you deserve a huge hug and thank yous and balloons to celebrate keep doing what you are doing cause you are rocking it so well. love and light my dear friend and thank you for being one of my lifesavers and my sober buddy.
