Opiate wd

I recently quit taking morphine after 4 years and have been having unusually high fever. It's been between 102 and 104 and almost daily. Is it possible that withdrawls could cause me to have fever as high as 104?

Hi Otis. Welcome to the forum. In my experience I have never had a fever during wd especially one this high. I would suggest getting a blood work up done as you may have a infection somewhere.. while using even moderately we cover other pains that may indicate something wrong.. Congrats on getting off the morphine I hope your original pain is being dealt with and I wish you well.. lesa
