thanks, it's my first time actually having someone to talk to...it helps so much to know that other people 1. understand, 2. care, and 3. have succeeded....thanks again. I am going to search those things and definitely do the walking....

Hi there and glad your here. I hope I can help you some with this. What is true for me may not be for you, but I think 'done withdrawl is one of the hardest things we will ever do, and congratulations for making the first 2 weeks. I am really glad you made it.

Alot of people think the thomas recipie ( a series of vitamins listed on this site just do a search) really helps altho it did not work for me. If you are not sleepin and have access to a dr I would recommend getting a sleeping aide like lunesta or ambien cr, not for long term use but just for the next few weeks. Getting sleep was crucial to my continued recovery.

I also took immodium, zantac and prilosec every day and still do as it helps with lingering problematic stomach issues. Also, I walked even when it was impossible to.

I'm no expert as I'm only on day 3 off of vics.  But as I feel better my plan is to
force myself off my arse and take a walk....tonight I'd like to take my dog for a walk but it's pouring.  But I'm going to do something to get moving...tonight I did
a mess of dishes that had been sitting in the sink since Sunday night when my stepson made dinner for his girlfriend (don't ask why he couldn't to them) and my
wife and i both lacked the energy to do them..but..I did it!

easy for me to say of course...but...you've got to take that first step
